Memphis Tilth exists to cultivate collective action for health of land, food, people, and place. In concert with our board of directors and community partners, our staff will work toward an economically sustainable, socially equitable, and environmentally sound local food system.
Our flagship project, Bring It exists to promote community development in Memphis and the Mid-South by increasing access to healthy, affordable local foods and strengthening farmer livelihoods. Bring It Food Hub now exists as a program of Memphis Tilth.
The Memphis Tilth, GrowMemphis Community Garden Program helps communities build gardens to improve access to locally grown food in their neighborhoods.
The Religion and Philosophy Department at Christian Brothers University is a strong partner of the Memphis Center for Food and Faith. Past collaborations have included a Documentary movie screening series and various other community engagement initiatives focused on the intersection of food and faith in the modern world.
